Can this come in modularized pieces?

Yes, the Marcus comes in all shapes, sizes and colours! Visit us in store to view all of the options available.

What do I do if I change my mind?

If you decide before your delivery / collection that your sofa isn’t right for you, we can cancel your order and organise a full refund. If your sofa is in your home and you aren’t happy with it, we do offer a 7 day change of mind policy. Please see our returns page for more information

What are the payment options?

We accept payment through various methods, including credit card, debit card, Zip Pay, cash and bank transfer. We cannot accept payment over the phone if you’re paying your initial payment / deposit. Balances can be paid over the phone provided it’s with the same credit card used for the initial payment.

What are the delivery options?

Melbourne & Sydney Metro areas have two delivery options available:

Standard delivery is a drop off delivery. The delivery team will bring your order in the room of your choice.
Premium delivery is a white glove delivery. The team will unpack your items, remove the rubbish and provide any assembly that’s required.

There are some areas outside of metro that do offer the premium option, please contact our team at bookings@secretsofa.com.au to see if your area is available.

If you are in a different state, we organize deliveries through a professional furniture delivery service and our team will contact you to advise of the status of your delivery.

How do I keep my new product clean and in good condition?

To care for your sofa, we suggest the following:

Keep your sofa out of direct sunlight and away from heaters
Vacuum regularly with the brush head of your vacuum cleaner
Dust your sofa with a dry cloth
Spot clean any small spills with a water-dampened microfibre cloth.
Use a 240v fabric shaver to de-pill your sofa if required (for fabric sofas only)
The back cushions of your sofa should be regularly rotated and ‘fluffed’ to ensure foam stays firm and in shape

For extra protection, we also recommend the Guardsman fabric and leather care kits.

You can purchase just a fabric or leather care kit on its own which includes cleaning solution, however you can also purchase kits that include a five year warranty against all accidental damage.

Deliveries

In-stock items can be located in either of our central warehouses (NSW or VIC), therefore we may need to transport your order to the location you have selected for preferred pickup or delivery. Please consider that these can be interstate and often the estimated time before collection or delivery can take place is up to 2-4 weeks.

We want you to have the best possible delivery experience, so we only use premium delivery services where possible. Our delivery partners offer a high standard of service and will contact you prior to delivery.

Standard deliveries are ground floor, drop offs only. White Glove Delivery - which includes assembly & packaging removal is available in Melbourne and Sydney.

Melbourne and Sydney customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery day.

Deliveries to Brisbane take 10-15 business days on average.

Please note, for some deliveries of products under 20kg (e.g. ottomans or chairs) we may use a general carrier service to deliver your product.

Velvet Care

All our velvets were designed to be low maintenance and easy to keep clean. With a majority being 100% microfibre, they have great longevity.

To keep clean, just vacuum your sofa on a weekly or biweekly basis, using the brush head.

To clean up any spills, just spot clean with a water-dampened microfibre cloth. We do not recommend using any abrasive cleaners as this can degrade the integrity of the fabric.

We do not recommend using any after-market velvet or fabric protectors as they do not offer genuine protection for your sofa.

While the majority of our velvet sofas do not have removable covers, if you are able to remove the covers they should not be machine washed.

Each sofa was designed using durable materials and all our fabrics and leathers are chosen because they’re easy to maintain and will age gracefully in your home.

Lead Time

The lead time for custom order products is 12-16 weeks in most cases.

Sometimes, we have extra stock on order of custom order products. If you place an order and we've got additional stock coming, we'll take the stock out of an existing order rather than raising a new one.

The lead time on orders where we already have the stock coming can drop down to around 4-8 weeks, although this will still vary depending on when you place the order and what stock we've got on order.

Regardless of the situation, we'll always do what we can to make sure you get your custom stock as quickly as possible.
